Hi guys and gals! How’s everyone going?
Today I have swatches and a review of Glam Polish’s new set that is available for pre-order today from their website. It contains three glitter toppers with unique mixes including types of glitters I’ve never seen before (and I own a lot of polish)!
All these swatches are topped with one coat of Glitter Gal ‘Gloss Boss’ top coat.
First up is Old Hollywood*, an adorable take on the normal black/white glitter top coats. It has diamonds, little stars, hex, micro and Mickey Mouse glitter in black, white and silver, in a clear base. How cute are the Mickey Mouses?!? The formula was good but I had to do some fishing for the heaver glitters i.e. Mickey Mouses and stars, and do some placement to get them to look right on the nail. I recommend sitting the bottle upside down before use to get the bigger pieces out of the bottom of the bottle. This is 2 coats over OPI ‘The One That Got Away’.
A Star is Born* is made up of pastel blue and mint dots, holo micro and mini silver star glitter in a clear base. I absolutely adore this one, it’s my favourite of the trio. The formula was easy to use, I sat the bottle upside down and had no difficulty getting anything out. Those stars and dots!! My my, I’m in love. This is 2 coats over Essence ‘Walk on Air’.
Screen Siren* has pastel pink and purple dots, hot pink diamonds, silver micro and bow glitter in a clear base. Bows!!! My first polish with bow glitters! And aren’t they just so so cute?? The formula was along the same lines as Old Hollywood, with a bit of fishing and placement required for the bows. This is 2 coats over China Glaze ‘Light As Air’.
Glam Polish’s website now offers shipping to the US or this trio will be available at international stockists in late February. For more information on where to purchase this brand, visit my ‘Where to buy‘ tab.
Til next time! x
